Flag $4.00 (Red Flag made from 18 mil banner material with printed logo) I tested about 20 different banner materials for durability before selecting this one. I tested them by putting a flag on my truck with a solid pole that did not flex so all the wind whipping was in the flag, then I drove my truck for at least 20 miles at 70 mph, most that I tested did not make it a mile before starting to unravel.
This American Flag is made for Harley street bikes and it is made to last. It is double layer nylon and is double sewn around the whole flag. The edge that usually frays from whipping is sewn four times. The heavy white nylon slip that your shaft goes through is twice as heavy a nylon as the flag it self. This flag is made to last, not a cheap print that falls apart in a ride or two. Comes with everything you need to put the flag on your whip. I test this flag all the time, it is on my 650 that I ride both street and dirt. This particular flag in this picture has over 1000 miles on it and a lot of that mileage is at speeds of 70 mph or more. You will need at least a 5/16" (.312) shaft to support this flag.
Axle flag mount for attaching a flag to your two-wheeler $9.95 This bracket is made from stronger and thicker aluminum than the competitors. This bracket will fit almost all bikes except the small 50's through some of the 100's. If you measure the axle bolt and it is 1/2" or smaller you need the "L" bracket below drilled with two 1/2" holes. Two-Wheeler side flag mount. $39.00 This mounting bracket (FlickWhip) is designed to mount with a new longer bolt into the existing bolt hole at the rear of your two-wheeler just before the rear fender. The second bolt is used after you drill a hole in the side of your rear fender to attach the mounting so it can not rotate downward. This is the best mount out there, there are some imititations that are shorter and I have found that they do not move the flag back far enough to allow the rider to use all of his/her seat without hitting the flag. This mount helps your whip last longer since it keeps the whip out of the tire. This bracket comes anodized in 3 colors beside natural aluminum. This item only available in aluminum color only at this time vPlain Vinyl flags in different colors. $4.00 Pennant flags 13 mm banner material, sewn with a sleeve to slide over your shaft. These flags collect and store light by day and glow 2 to 4 hours in the dark. They are made of a rubberized material and then printed with a special glow in the dark ink. If they stop glowing in the dark you can recharge them by shinning your headlights on them for a couple of minutes and they will glow brightly again for another few hours.
