The light can be seen for approximately 1/4 of a mile and the batteries last approximately 150 hours. The light turns on when the vehicle has movement and stops 12 seconds after you stop. It uses 3 replaceable watch batteries available 3 for $1.50. The lights come in three colors red, blue, and green. The bottom lens that attaches to your whip is available in shaft sizes .200, .250, .275, .308, .333 and a blank that you can drill to your exact size. The Quick Whip Quick Disconnect Truck Rod is for any application where you would like to run a big flag, like a 3' x 5' flag or a heavy duty application. It can be attached to any 1/2" hole on your vehicle. It is designed to revolve with the large flags and reduce flag wrap. It is 100% stainless steel and has a full 1/2" fiberglass shaft 8' tall. When you want to take down your flag you just pull the pin and lift it out. It is designed so sand, dirt and water run right through, so nothing collects inside the Quick Disconnect.
